Our perception of the world around us is processed through our senses and everyday we are bombarded by thousands of stimuli that activate those senses. Those sights, sounds, smells, tastes and touches all influence our emotional health and well-being. It all happens so rapidly and seamlessly that we often take our senses for granted and rarely think about the process, much less the idea of focusing in on those senses.
