The Sobon family has been making wine in Amador County since 1977 and the tradition continues with one of the few family-owned and operated vineyards in the area under both Shenandoah Vineyards and Sobon Estate labels. They have approximately 240 acres of grapes around Amador County that they farm sustainably and then use for wines that they bottle at their estates.
