Each year, Downtown Manteca attracts thousands for the Sunrise Kiwanis Club’s Annual Pumpkin Fair. The two-day event will include more than 150 local vendors, a haunted house, car show, carnival and several pumpkin-themed events.

6. Wicked Wine Stroll 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Oct. 17

Downtown Lodi’s many tasting rooms and local shops will host the wine-inspired stroll. The event showcases regional wineries, who will be pouring their latest fall vintages along with appetizers.

7. Preston Castle’s Halloween Haunt and Costume Ball 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights from Oct. 16-31; and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Oct. 31

The Preston Castle, located in Ione, will host a series of scare tours on select weekends throughout October. On Halloween night, come in costume for the Halloween Costume Ball – complete with music, a no host bar and food.
